Investment and Mergers and Acquisitions Society (Cambridge)

The Cambridge Investment and M&A Society (CIMA) is the first student-led society at Cambridge dedicated to the dynamic world of mergers, acquisitions, and investment activity - a niche area of finance that many students are left to navigate alone. Our emphasis is on learning and practical education. Our mission is to demystify the sector by providing students with the knowledge, tools, and experience to engage with it meaningfully. Whether members aspire to work in M&A, want to explore a new area of finance, or simply understand the forces shaping corporate strategy, CIMA provides a welcoming and intellectually stimulating environment. We aim to do this through the following:

• Reports and News Highlights: CIMA would be the first University group (not simply at Cambridge but beyond) producing high quality researchdriven reports on real-world deals and trends. We aim to be the premier standard here.

• Competitions (Internal and external)

• Workshops and Events

• Socials

CIMA has already garnered 80+ members across all platforms in the first month of announcement.
