Oxbridge AI X (Cambridge)

Oxbridge AI X - Cambridge is the official Cambridge chapter of the global Oxbridge AI X ecosystem, connecting Cambridge students and alumni to proven AI entrepreneurship opportunities. The focus of the organization is to operate as a mini-incubator helping students learn by getting hands-on experience on the practical side of supporting startups. Focused on AI only within Oxford and Cambridge, we provide Cambridge students with: Direct access to the annual Oxbridge AI Challenge alongside Oxbridge AI X and other societies and partners Connection to 120+ industry mentors and heroes across the ecosystem Bridge to startups that have for example finalists of the Oxbridge AI Challenge have collectively raised $21.5M+ within the AI space (for preseed and seed alone). Specialized programs: MVP Development Weekends, co-founder matching, weekly masterclasses, intern matching, ecosystem trips across the world Cross-university collaboration with Oxford counterparts and part of the system around Oxbridge AI X. Oxbridge AI X is a proven pathway to top accelerators: Y Combinator, StartX, Techstars, Entrepreneur First. Unlike existing societies, we offer documented outcomes through our established ecosystem, with verified success stories like Omnisent ($3M raised), Demetria, Innex, Ignota Labs and others, and direct connections to active AI ventures and funding opportunities across the world. We are not focused on AI technology but AI Entrepreneurship and it's about maximizing the relationships in this space to support community and infrastructure building with relationships between Oxford and Cambridge. Our focus sets us apart, leaving other societies like Cambridge AI Society to focus on hackathons and Cambridge Entrepreneurs and CUTEC to focus on more general entrepreneurship. These societies also don't act as student-run incubators. The closest comparison might be to Ox1 at Oxford.
